Hi friends! With so many skincare brands on the market, it’s so hard to choose from! We all have our classic brands that we tend to stick with, but I always love experimenting with new brands and find more skincare staples to add to my routine. I rallied up some up-and-coming skincare brands that I’ve heard of from this year and the hype around these brands/products.
1. The Inkey List
The Inkey List has to be my number one pick for new skincare brands of 2020! This UK-based skincare company is easily compared to The Ordinary skincare – with ingredient-stated labels on each product, minimal packaging, and everything ranging within ~$10 each! Many reviewers have also stated similarities between products from both brands, so they are definitely a comparable match. I happened to purchase The Inkey List on Shoppers Drug Mart online website! I haven’t used the products enough to capture a full review, but so far I am enjoying the “Collagen Booster” and “Q10” serum from the line – really brightening!
2. C’est Moi
I haven’t heard of this brand until very recently when I watched Harper’s Bazaar’s Youtube video “Liza Koshy’s #StayatHome Nighttime Skincare Routine“, when Liza introduced many C’est Moi products she uses on a nightly basis. Many fans have commented that C’est Moi is Liza’s new beauty brand, but I believe she is just the brand’s beauty ambassador. C’est Moi is known for their clean ingredients and gentle products, like their “Gentle Foaming Cleansing Gel“. I happened to find some of their skincare/makeup products on Well.ca (for Canadian buyers) or the official C’est Moi website!
3. Blume
Blume is all about self-care products that use non-toxic and vegan ingredients – plus empowers woman through every stage in their skin life and focuses on sustainable packaging, that reduces harm to our own selves and the environment. I haven’t seen too much buzz on Blume, but they do have a few positive reviews on Sephora for their skincare products like “Cloud 9” – an essential oil rollerball; and “Meltdown” – an acne-prone cleansing oil. You can find their products sold at Sephora, Well.ca, and even Indigo!
4. InnisFree
Although this is not a new brand at the skincare game, it is definitely expanding their market outside of the Korean-skincare world. InnisFree has opened up so many retail locations within Canada this past year, and I’ve been loving it! InnisFree offers an array of lines that uses great, gentle ingredients like Green Tea, Cherry Blossom, and Orchid! I love their “My Real Squeeze Mask” sheet masks, “Hydrating Cleansing Foam with Green Tea” cleanser, and also their makeup is great too – I love the “Auto Eyebrow Pencil“. Although you can’t shop the InnisFree official website, you can find their products on YesStyle and Chuusi!
Jenuinely,
