Hi friends! It’s always a struggle to buy our mom the “perfect” gift for any occasion – which sparked my idea of creating an early gift guide to get your mom something special for Mother’s Day! Check out our suggested list below and let us know any other gift recommendations.
1. Amazon | Bedsure Satin Pillowcases (~$15)
I have these exact pillowcases from Amazon and I love them! I read a bunch of positive benefits on satin/silk pillowcases for your hair and skin; I haven’t noticed a difference yet but it does feel really smooth to sleep on! They have tons of different colours you can choose from, to best fit any bedroom aesthetic – plus they’re only under $15 for a pack of two!
2. Sephora | Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask Set ($59)
This eye cream is perfect for any skincare lover (moms included!) – super hydrating from the avocado, which promotes extra elasticity for the skin and helps with the dullness under the eyes. I am obsessed with this Glow Recipe eye cream and it’s a great deal with an eye mask included! Such a cute pre-packaged set, which makes it that much easier to give. (Another great alternative is Glow Recipe’s “Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask Set” for $59 – an amazing sleeping/wash-off mask made with real watermelons and includes a pink eye mask)
3. Indigo | Bodum Caffeteria French Press Coffee Maker (~$20)
Our mom is seriously obsessed with coffee (never seen her miss a day without it), which I decided to include a new way to make her cup of joe; a french press coffee maker! Really small yet effective tool to make that powerful coffee, plus it’s super cute and on sale (so you can get a thoughtful gift without breaking the bank). This Bodum French Press Coffee Maker is 25% off now on Indigo’s online webstore! (Alternative: if your mom is a tea lover instead, Bodum’s Assam Tea Press Teapot is also on sale and the clear pot makes it super easy to see through for the perfect brewed tea)
4. Hudson’s Bay | KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer ($329.99)
I feel like during this quarantine time, there has been a lot of baking going on in my household, which my mom loves making all types of desserts! We currently have a small hand mixer, which works great but we definitely could level up the baking process with a high-tech stand mixer! The KitchenAid “Artisan Stand Mixer” is currently on sale at Hudson’s Bay, which is a great gift to give! I’ve read only great reviews on the stand mixers from KitchenAid – such as: better speed options and additional adaptors that can be purchased for different multi-functional uses for the mixer!
5. Saje Wellness | Wellness 101 Relaxation Edition ($60)
This such a great deal! For $60, you can get an adorable Petite Ultrasonic Diffuser with a diffuser oil blend and Saje’s classic “Stress Relief Remedy”.
